As many of you may know, I am never short on words. But as I try to come up with a short announcement for the beginning of the day about wearing purple to prevent bullying, I have no idea what to say. I’ve gone from being too statistical, to beign too anecdotal. I want to be eloquent, but I don’t want the message to go over the kids’ heads. I want to make a succinct point but yet I find myself being far to verbose. I am typing whole paragraphs and then deleting them shortly there after. I am really frustrated!!!
What do you say when you want kids to believe in themselves, be kind to each other, and realize that no matter who they are, they are an excellent part of this world? I’m sure it will come to me but for now I’m kind of at a loss… Any suggestions?! HELP!
